Rob Forbes made a motion was made that the club rent a storage shed to keep club equipment. The motion was seconded and carried.

Everyone who has club equipment needs to bring it to the March meeting and it will be decided what we want to do.

The water permits for the claims has been taken care of.

Randy Evans needs a kidney transplant and Bill Gardunia wants to help him with his expenses. He will donate a Conestoga Wagon yard planter (see picture below) to be raffled, with all proceeds given to Randy. Ron Mackleprang is redoing the claims guides and it will take an estimated $100 - $150 to print it. He still needs help in marking the claims.

Rob Forbes has agreed to help Tammy Palin plan this year’s outings.

Silver City claims boundaries are vague. Members need to make sure they are not infringing on the surface rights that these claims may include.

Chuck Knapp invited members to attend his trial for leaving his camper on his claim. The trial is set for March 11th at 9:00.

Letter from the President:

Happy spring, everyone! It's really beginning to look like winter may be mostly over (although in Idaho you should NEVER assume)! I know everyone is anxious to get out and start prospecting, and as soon as the snow has cleared the outings for the club will start. At this next meeting (March) we'll go over what outings are planned for when, so people will have an idea of what is coming up for the whole year. Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Tami Palin, President
